I’m very sorry to report that the new update to macOS 10.15 Catalina, Apple’s new all 64-bit OS, seems to break some or perhaps all current Mac plugins in the current Graffix lineup. As I’ve written before, all plugins are written using Hot Door Inc.’s excellent CORE libraries that add features to, and even fix inherent bugs in Adobe’s native developer SDK. The downside, of course, is that there’s nothing I can do about compatibility with OS changes or Adobe Illustrator upgrades until Hot Door updates their CORE libraries. These updates typically happen shortly after the release of a new version of Adobe Illustrator, although exceptions may happen.
So, in response to the inevitable question “When will you support Catalina?” I can only say “when the tools to do so become available.”
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, and promise to do my very best to make updates available as soon as I possibly can.
