I’m sure many of you have downloaded Illustrator 25.3 with the new canvas rotation feature. I’ve updated my Mac install, but for now Windows is unable to access the Adobe servers to download the update.
Artwork seems to display and project correctly, although more testing is needed. What I see right away is that in the macOS 25.3.1 build I’ve been able to download, custom controls such as dials and the Projection panel’s proxy cube don’t display, and neither does the list in the Transformations panel. I’ve reached out to Hot Door for information on possible workarounds, but suspect most or all compatibility issues will need to wait for an update to the CORE libraries.
Compatibility with Apple’s new M1 processors is also expected in a new CORE update, which could show up any day, or it may take a month or more. I’m sorry I can’t give any specifics.
Once more information is available, I’ll pass it along.
